Ascension of Christ issues call
to Seminarian Student Mark Biebighauser

On Tuesday, April 22, 2008, Concordia Seminary in St. Louis held its annual call service, and it was announced that Seminarian student Mark Biebighauser was selected to serve at Ascension of Christ after graduation and ordination. Members of Ascension watched the call service in Fellowship Hall, via live web-stream, and excitement filled the air!

Once he graduates in mid-May, he will be able to officially accept his calling to Ascension of Christ (click link to read his letter!). Plans are in place to hold his ordination and installation at Ascension of Christ on Sunday afternoon, June 22, with a dinner to follow. Please continue to pray for Mark and Joni Biebighauser, as well as Ascension of Christ Lutheran Church, during this transition period.
