Podcasting! It's brand new, it's revolutionary, it's free, and anyone can use it. Here's how it works.

Each weekly message is recorded and converted to a digital format that can be played on your computer. Until now, the only method of listening to the messages was by downloading them from the web site or requesting a tape. Podcast messages are not only free, but will automate the process for you as well! You don't have to own an iPod to enjoy a Podcast. All you have to do is subscribe to an Ascension of Christ Lutheran Podcast and every week the latest sermons and Bible study will be automatically downloaded to your computer.

How to get started

We recommend using Apple's iTunes program, which is available for both Windows and Mac. iTunes is available free by downloading it from www.itunes.com. There are versions for both Windows and Mac computers.

Step 1: Download iTunes and install it on your computer.

Step 2: Open iTunes. When you installed it on a Windows PC it creates a new icon on your desktop, but if you can't find it click your Start button > All Programs > iTunes. It should be there.

Step 3: Open the Advanced dropdown menu on top.

Step 4: Click "Subscribe to Podcast…" and a small window will open.

Step 5: Pick the Ascension of Christ Podcast. http://www.ascensionofchrist.org/media/sermons/sermons.xml

You should now see your selection in the Podcast section of iTunes with the available sermons underneath. When a new sermon is released, iTunes can download it automatically.
